Sculptures in bronze, stone and wood are on display in the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Garden, as well as a number of paintings and drawings and an archive display. Barbara Hepworth worked in Trewyn studios, now the Hepworth Museum, from c1949 until her death in c1975. Her studio and garden have been run by the Tate Gallery since c1980. Visiting the museum and sculpture garden is a unique experience, which offers a remarkable insight into the work and outlook of one of Britain's most important 20thC artists.
